An unknown creature took two large bites out of a huge stingray

In the Australian state of Queensland on the beach found a stingray with teeth marks of an unknown creature. It bit off two large pieces of him, reports Yahoo News.

Huge fish with frightening wounds on the sides were found on the shore of Fraser Island off the east coast of Australia. When it was spotted by passersby, the wounds were still bleeding.

Ecology professor Daryl McPhee, contacted by a Yahoo News reporter, speculated that the stingray was attacked by a shark. “There are a lot of different species of sharks here, and some of them really like stingrays,” he explained. – There are tons of narrow-toothed sharks, and there are tiger sharks too.”
