Nine new hot new Jupiters have been discovered

All of the newly discovered planets have orbital periods of less than eight days, and their equilibrium temperatures have been estimated to range from 1000 to 1772 kelvin. The hottest exoplanet of the nine was found to be TOI-5232 b.

TOI-3919 b and TOI-5301 b have significant orbital eccentricities at 0.26 and 0.33, respectively. According to the authors of the paper, this suggests that they may have undergone tidal migration.

The parent stars have radii ranging from 0.84 to 2.19 solar radii, and their masses range from 0.9 to 1.57 solar masses. The two oldest stars are estimated to be about 8 billion years old. The stars are located at a distance of 576 to 1985 light-years from Earth.
